The “reflective” look of Bella Hadith that Palmate Mai has also used

Bella Hadith has become one of the most famous and popular models in the world, a job she also shares with her sister Gibe.

This has led her to model for exclusive brands and prominent designers, becoming an icon and influential fashion.

In this context, it was a few days ago when Bella hit everyone during her arrival at a Louis Vuitton event due to a daring garment she wore.

It is a reflective vest, which had 3 large pockets, according to Elbe magazine.

This garment was worn over a long white blouse, which she used as a dress. In addition, he accompanied all this look with reflective tapes and sports shoes.

But in Chile, we also have an exponent that has dared with this reflective trend. This is Palmate Mai, who last November showed a reflective jacket very similar to the safety clothing used by construction workers.

Finally, Hadith and the interpreter of Not Steady are not the only ones who join in this fashion. The singers Kane West and Quaver Honcho have also shown off with this type of hanging.

The danger in the dark

Kirchhoff – On Saturday evening there was an accident between a car and a 94-year-old pedestrian. The reason for this was that the driver saw the lady too late in the dark. There is no reflective material on this lady. Police warn of danger in winter.

A 94-year-old female pedestrian was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Saturday around 19:20. The pensioner wanted to cross a street in Kirchhoff, which is equipped with no street lighting and was thereby captured by a car. The 39-year-old driver from the district of Ending, despite an evasive maneuver, could no longer prevent the collision.

The 94-year-old was taken to the hospital with severe head injuries. The fire brigade Kirchhoff was in this accident with ten men in action. The prosecution commissioned a report and ordered the securing of the car.

The police advise in this connection:

Watch out for twilight and darkness for bright and, ideally, reflective clothing. Dressed in a dark, you are the earliest from about 25 meters away. This can be too short for a timely pause or avoidance.

With reflectors on and reflective tapes in your clothing, you increase your visibility to up to 150 meters – enough distance and time for you and for motorists to react!

From the security signal to the protest sign

A successful transmutation, of the object “reflective vest” on a dashboard about “yellow vests” saturating the public space; a successful diversion from a security signal to a protest sign; but a fight of opinion lost, in spite of the initial sympathy which the movement had been able to arouse. A semiotic reading obviously does not exhaust the sociological and historical analysis that is needed, but it can shed light on the reflection on a phenomenon that arises from nowhere and that risks returning to it, for lack of having been able to transform the symbolic capital created in tangible political benefit. No, definitely, there is no immanence of meaning …

From object to subject: a successful transmutation

In 2008, the fluorescent yellow vest, called “high visibility” thanks to its horizontal reflective tapes, became a mandatory road safety equipment on board cars. As summed up the late Karl Dangerfield, more maceration than ever in a poster campaign launch, “it’s yellow, it’s ugly, it does not go with anything, but it can save your life.”

Already used as a sign of rallying in 2014 by parents of students opposed to the reform of school rhythms of Vincent Pillion, or by border workers of the Haut-relief, the yellow vest acquires world renown only in November 2018 when the eponymous movement starts. The change of substance and nature is as rapid as it is radical, in every sense of the word. We are talking about the transmutation of reality by writing, we are there in the transmutation of the object – a banal piece of fluorescent tissue – by the subject – a frustrated, angry citizen, who intends to make himself all the more visible in the public space that he feels invisible in the political space.

But how is this “passage” from one state to another effected? How does one go from having a yellow vest to being a yellow vest, to a roundabout and then to the street? How does the textile object give its name (if no meaning, it will be seen) to the human subject?

From signal to sign: successful diversion

From a semiotic point of view, we thus observe a process of transformation of reality by the effect of a metonymy. The original idea comes, as we know, from a user of Facebook, Laughing Courtyard, who expresses himself in these terms in a video posted on his Facebook account in late October: “We all have a yellow vest in the car. Fuck it prominently on the dashboard, all week, finally until 17. A little color code to show that you agree with us, with the movement, and that is hot, that is not hot. ”

Displayed on the dashboards and then carried on oneself, the “small color code” for signage purposes (to be visible in the event of a road failure) becomes a shared sign (to be visible because of a social breakdown) and ostensibly displayed by thousands of people. French who put it on to denounce the taxes on diesel, the increase in social charges or indirect taxes and, more broadly, fiscal and social injustice. Then, quickly, the wearing of the vest is a radical challenge to the established order, the representative democracy, the political “system” in place – with the support of far-right and far-left activists, populist movements and Troll factories Justinian and Bostonian pharmacies whose #fake-news invade the favorite social media vests yellow.

From the dashboard of the car to the shoulders of its driver, the reflective fabric thus becomes the banner of a global rebellion, both disorganized and “framed” by some, more and more virulent, even violent, if not massive and even less representative of the French population.

From rejection to rejection: a fight of opinion

As in an interminable play, the “acts” follow each other, week by week, weaving a captivating media dramaturgy – in the etymological sense of the term, that is, seduced by a sort of irresistible fascination. Morbid fascination in front of the screens, Saturday after Saturday, for the urban guerrilla scenes which mark each parade but also, more and more, for the violent acts internal to the movement whose irreconcilable fractions are torn apart and finally, as in Lyon or Paris last weekend, for lack of prior ex-filtration, face each other physically. They do not agree on much, but forbid each other to say or do anything “in the name of yellow vests”.

It’s worth remembering about reflections

In schools, the subject of reflections is coming back. They have already started in Leech.

The “Reflective School” reached the students of the Primary School in Leech. Kids dressed in reflective vests and other reflective materials promoted road safety among the local community.

It is on the rural, low-lit, often without pavement roads that such an initiative is needed. That is why students provided with banners encouraging them to move safely along the road under the supervision of a police patrol marched through the streets of the town to draw the attention of residents to the need for such behavior, and thus to reduce the risks in road traffic – explain the originators of the action.

The owners of local shops who received reflective materials from the students also helped in promoting this idea. It’s for customers.

In addition, students of the eighth grade, under the care of teachers, encouraged older people to wear reflections.

Before the evening service, they handed out reflective tapes to adults and especially the elderly. The action was met with great gratitude among seniors. Remember to wear flares, especially now, when autumn, shorter days are coming! – they add at the school in Legalize.

Police gave pedestrians fines and reflective elements

Pedestrians and obligatory use of reflective materials have been targeted by the Moravian-Hessian police in recent days. Many sinners have been stuck in their networks.

“Outside of villages and under reduced visibility, police have checked a total of 399 pedestrians. Twenty-one of them did not have mandatory reflective tapes, “said Daniel Pavlov from the Moravian-Hessian police.

Pedestrian checks also took place in municipalities. Here the police found 255 misdemeanors, mostly red and crossing the designated places. Most of the offenses were solved by the police on the spot by imposing a fine.

“The three cases where the offenders did not agree with the amount of the fine were notified to the relevant municipal authorities,” Pavlov added, saying that policemen did not only pay fines to pedestrians. “They also had reflective vests and recommendations to use them in the village to improve their safety in low visibility,” Pavlov explained.

During the event police officers also checked the drivers. The most common misdemeanor was the unsuitable technical condition of the vehicles (68), and thirty-eight people did not use seat belts. Eleven drivers stood behind the wheel after taking drugs, fourteen had alcohol. As four of them breathed over one pro-mile, they would be responsible for a criminal offense under the influence of the addictive substance.

Total police officers checked nearly 4500 vehicles and 800 pedestrians during the event. They found 664 offenses, 626 of which were settled on the spot by imposing fines in excess of 200 thousand crowns, reported to the relevant local authorities about thirty-eight cases.

Vassal police officers urge mayors to buy reflective vests for wagons

Vassal police officers urge city mayors to buy reflective vests for carriages, due to a large number of accidents occurring within counties where unsigned horses are involved.

Chief Commissioner Sergio Anton, head of the Road Police Service, met with the mayors of some communes in the county and asked them to buy 500 reflective vests with reflective tapes, which he would distribute to the carriages. Last year, Commissioner Anton collected 500 donations from the donations, which he shared for free.

I am not a follower of the fines imposed on the elderly

In the county of Vassal, 32 people have died in road accidents, of which 30 were caused by events in rural areas. 9 people died, people over 65 who disregarded all road laws and regulations, the policeman said.

It is very difficult for us, as cops, to go for tragic events. You, as mayors, could do much more to avoid such dramas. I am not a follower of the fines imposed on the elderly, so we ask for your help so that there are not so many unpleasant and tragic events. We are the only county in the country to record tragic events because of the tails, said the head of the Road Police.

Safety in the first place by boat, by bike or by motorbike

Spring is coming and many starts using the two wheels. In the city – and not only – the risk of pedaling and not being seen at nightfall increases. But the technical garments to wear, those that provide more security, are evolving. In fact, from the research of Slam, the leader in nautical clothing and not only, but Lumen is also born, a new line whose garments are made special by a fabric that becomes luminescent if struck by a ray of light in environments with a brightness index of 20 Lumen.

Warm, water repellent and equipped with waterproof zip, these garments guarantee good protection in cool and rainy days. They are ideal for night trips by boat, but also by motorbike or by bicycle.

Reflective jacket. Made of a special reflective fabric ideal for urban weather thanks to its characteristics. What makes a Lumen garment special is the thread that makes up the fabric, with small reflective spheres inserted into the yarn.

Bowline gilet. Necessary on the boat but essential even on the road, by motorcycle or bicycle in low light conditions. Fixed wraparound hood with visor.

Backpack A234. Three convenient compartments: PC pocket and double pocket. Rubberized fabric, padded shoulder straps, handle and elastic crossover that becomes a further object holder. Practical arch-zip pull and reflective logos with reflective heat transfer vinyl. Water repellent measures 29x15x46, reflective.

Four new daycare centers equipped with safety vests

Four Consoling day-care centers – the band of knights at the town hall, Copperhead in Dunderhead, the Highlighter Tubercle and the energy wharves Mitterrand – were delighted to receive new reflective vests. Bergen Dalmatian, chairman of the traffic guard Consoling presented on Tuesday each facility a set of 30 west for the children and two west for the educators. Julia Arras, the head of the Kit Telebanking, had appealed to the employees of the traffic police and they had responded promptly.

West for children and educators

About three years ago, all Consoling kindergartens and elementary schools were equipped by the Wehrmacht Consoling, which is always committed to the safety (not only) of children in road traffic, each with a class set of safety vests. With this small but valuable contribution, they also supported this time. The vests remain in the facilities and can be worn on excursions.

Before distributing, Bergen Dalmatian wanted to know from the children why one should wear such vests. Of course, the kids had the right answer: “So that the motorists can see us better.” Clothing with reflective tapes is visible at around 150 meters. Practical side effect from the point of view of the educators: If they are traveling with the children, for example in the zoo, the little ones can be seen much more easily because of the bright yellow color.

Reflective materials to see 150 meters

The garments had to be tried on immediately. The little ones were very happy about their new vests. The mother of little Thomas from the daycare center Copperhead was also happy. “When I drive Thomas to the daycare center in the morning, I always find out how many of the children are hard to see.” She praised the members of the public security team for taking time out to give them the necessary insight.

A reflective tour around the province is underway

Today, the students of the General Education School in Gemological in the Greece district received reflective tapes.

This is another edition of the “You are visible, you’re safe” campaign, organized by the Provincial Road Traffic Center in Radium and the Marshal’s Office of the Mackenzie Comradeship. Over 120 students of grades I-VII received safety vests. They had the opportunity to practice their skills on a bicycle obstacle course. They also familiarized themselves with the principles of first aid and road safety.

– Today the children got sets with four reflective materials. These are two wristbands that can be put on your arm, leg and two pendants, which you can attach to your backpack or keys – said Tomas Godzilla from the Marshal’s Office.

– In addition to education, safety and health are in the first place. This campaign should be promoted by all schools to make young people aware that this safety is the most important thing for their lives – said Atalanta Tomcat, the director of ZSO.

Do not forget the reflective elements!

Darkness is still early, and so it was again a very recent amendment to Act 361/2000 Coll. on road traffic. It came into force on February 20, 2016, and its main objective is to prevent serious and fatal accidents caused by the fact that the pedestrian was not visible enough on the road. This is to ensure mandatory reflection elements, but unfortunately, a number of pedestrians who travel on unlit roads are unfortunately ignored. Many people think that the car has lights to see the driver. And that means they see them, so nothing can happen to them.

It is stupid to repeat all the media every fall. But there is still little. This is evidenced by one very sad number. Autumn and winter are likely to be signed by this issue too, in a very bold and sad script. What with this?

See and be seen

Remember that it is not only important to see, but to be seen! The driver who encounters the darkness of the pedestrian in dark clothes has an adequate response of only about 18 meters. Put into practice, this means that at a speed of 70 km / h, which is 20 km / h lower than the maximum speed limit outside the village, the driver does not have a response for a second. And in this time, pedestrians must notice and adequately respond. Is it even possible? And what happens when a pedestrian has at least some reflective fabric? The driver is then able to register it at a distance of 200 meters and has enough time for a reaction.

If you dragged on how to look like the right reflective material, then it is difficult to advise in this. The law does not unravel it, and we think any reflex element is better than none. Ideal, of course, is a reflective vest, but we understand that you will not normally wear it with you. However, it is also good to use reflective tapes that fit into each pocket and are available almost everywhere. Children can be “adorned” with iron-on reflective images with the motives of their favorite characters. Remember that if you are driving on a dark road without pavement, always keep the reflector on the hand or foot that is facing the road. So the driver will see the moving glare from the lights.

We’ve already met on our roads with some pedestrians picking up a cell phone with a flashlight turned on, and they use instead of reflective materials. It may seem like a good idea, but the cell or the flashlight itself cannot reflect the light coming from the car’s reflector, but on the contrary, it may lose it (like weaker sources of light). Moreover, these features are not visible from all sides.

Do you wonder if you are in danger of using reflective elements? In the first place, you are at risk of at least serious injury or, in the worst case, death. These are the most important reasons why you need to buy and use a 25-pound reflex tape. If you accidentally catch the police without it, then you will be fined up to CZK 2,000 in the block and from 1,500 to 2,500 CZK in administrative proceedings.
