On the eve of the new school year, Roskostvo together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia summed up the results of a study on the quality of clothing for schoolchildren.

 

It is gratifying that the proportion of irregularities in the school uniform market decreased by 20 percent, noted in Roskostvye. However, the problem of unreliable marking remained relevant: the actual composition of the fabric in half of the cases did not correspond to that indicated on the label. Special to the beginning of the new school year, departmental specialists launched a project to study the quality of school bags. Most of the proven goods were Chinese, but there were also samples of production of the Russian Federation, Germany, Japan, and Serbia. The correct school backpack for children of the junior and middle school group should be equipped with a solid, inflexible back, it evenly distributes the load on the back, without harming posture. In addition, a good school “satellite” is equipped with wide straps (at least 3.5-4 centimeters) and the ability to adjust the straps, and also must fit snugly to the body. The material of the backpack should be lightweight, durable, with a water-repellent coating, convenient for cleaning, and its body – form-resistant. Outside must be reflective tapes.

 

However, in practice, it was more difficult to find such an ideal school backpack than it seemed. Manufacturers use the fact that the knapsack cannot indicate that it is intended for the child, and do not always follow the strict standards that are set for products for children. Another important weight. According to the norms of technical regulations, such a product should not exceed 700 grams for primary schoolchildren and one kilogram for middle and senior classes.

Seniors are reminded of the principles of limited trust in strangers and maintaining common sense when deciding to buy products offered to them. Meetings are also an opportunity to talk about current problems of inhabitants of the village council.

 

District meetings are conducted as part of the six-monthly priority action plans for their business areas. They are to serve to increase neighborhood contacts with the public for effective interaction with residents to improve security in a given region.

 

The tasks adopted by the districts for implementation result from social expectations defined during meetings, consultations, and debates with the public as well as on-going analysis of threats to the National Safety Threat Map. These tasks are an important hint for the police because they concern problems and problems in the solution that we can help. The implementation of priority tasks – as the name says – has a special meaning for us.

If the management does not agree to these conditions, Solidarity – gathering more than 15 percent. people employed by the country’s largest employer – will start a protest. Conversations of the management of the Post Office with the unions in it regarding the wage fund have been ongoing since the beginning of the year. The next round is planned for next Tuesday. The union believes that this is the last chance meeting.

 

“The union decided that there will be no protest if we sign a wage agreement on Tuesday. We will go to this meeting with goodwill. The question is whether the employer will show it, “says Bogumił Nowicki, chairman of NSZZ” Solidarność “Poczta Polska. From yesterday, the organization is with the employer in a collective dispute due to the lack of increases.

 

A spokeswoman for the company Justyna Siwek confirms that talks on the remuneration fund are scheduled for 30 April. In addition to “S”, the second representative organization – the Postal Union Workers’ Union will take part in them. However, Siwek does not inform whether the management sees a chance of an agreement. If it does not come to him, in the week of May 6, the members of the postal “S” will work in yellow vests. Such reflective vests with reflective tapes have been worn since last autumn – initially in France and later also in other countries, including in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Portugal.

 

The next stage of the protest is to be a picket in front of the headquarters of the Post Office. The relationship is not disclosed yet.

 

“We applied for a raise at the beginning of the year, expecting it to be PLN 350 gross. During these few months, however, we did not get a positive response from the employer, who in our mind played for a delay. That’s why we raised the amount to 500 zlotys and changed the tone from expectations to demand,” reports Bogumił Nowicki.

 

In March, the board member of Poczta Grzegorz Kurdziel, in conversation with DGP, assured that any additional funds that the company will manage to find, “will be primarily allocated to increasing wages”. He stipulated, however, that any increase would depend on revenues and costs in the first months of the year.

 

Due to the scale of employment, wages are the main component of Poczta Polska’s costs (in 2017 it was 70%, ie PLN 4.2 billion, and the expenditure structure from last year has not yet been provided). In total, in 2016-2018 salaries in the company increased by almost PLN 700 gross, and including bonuses – by about 1.2 thousand. Last year The post allocated PLN 255 million to wage increases. The minimum postal fee is currently 2.5 thousand gross PLN. The statutory minimum wage is 2.25 thousand.

 

“An increase of 500 PLN is possible in our opinion, the Post Office is able to earn it,” convinces Bogumił Nowicki. “We have, for example, huge reserves in contracts with large clients, some contracts even below costs. We also agree to high penalties,” he argues. In his opinion, the adjustment of contracts would allow increasing revenues, and therefore profit.

When the time comes to prepare for holidays, we often find queues in stores, more cars appear on the roads, the sidewalks are not a bit more crowded, and people in this pre-holiday chaos lose their vigilance. However, for the holidays to be joyful, first of all, we must remember about security because a moment of inattention would be enough to lose what is important to us.

 

“We will look after the safety of the inhabitants of our region, additional patrols will appear on the roads, the prevention officers already control, among others, shopping centers, bazaars, and bus stop, because it is in these places that during the holiday preparations we note the most thefts,” says young asp. However, it is also worth taking care of your own safety. The police officers prepared some tips for peaceful holidays. Following these tips will help you avoid unpleasant situations and spend the holidays in a joyful atmosphere:

 

Separate the money in your purse and put it in different places. If possible, do not take more cash, unnecessary credit cards and documents for shopping.

Close the bag and carry it from the front. Do not put it away by paying at the box office, shopping or trying on clothes in the store. The thief is only given a moment of inattention.

Do not show others the contents of the wallet by paying for shopping.

Do not store documents and money in the back pockets of trousers, in the outer pockets of your coat or jacket.

Do not provoke a thief with clothing and jewelry. Pickpockets often watch their victims earlier. They pay attention primarily to people well dressed and looking prosperous.

Select the PIN code you entered with your other hand when selecting cash from the ATM. In addition, choose ATMs that are well-lit and do not stand out of the way. If you decide to collect more cash, it is worth to have someone trusted with us. Do not keep this money in one place. Separate them. Even if we are looted by a pickpocket, we will not lose the entire amount.

When traveling with mass media, do not sit in empty compartments. When traveling, try not to fall asleep. Look after your luggage.

Do not carry keys to the flat together with the documents where your address is given. In the event of their theft, the thief can also rob your home.

 

When planning a holiday trip, remember to secure the apartment – burglars do not celebrate, and the apartment is a tasty morsel for them!

Reflectors are becoming more and more popular. It is influenced by the increase in our awareness, but also by numerous educational campaigns.

 

Recall from August 31, 2014, reflective elements must be used by all pedestrians moving along the road after dark outside the built-up area, and not only children and young people up to the age of 15, as it was before. There are many reflections on the market. However, not all of them, as it turns out, provide total security. This is the case, for example, with gadgets (promotional materials) that may be similar to them, but should not be treated as such. For the reflector can only be called an accessory that has passed the conformity assessment procedure and has the CE mark.

 

The Trade Inspection has decided to take a closer look at such reflective accessories. The audit took place in the second quarter of 2017 in nine voivodeship. Inspectors checked mainly wholesalers and stores. They looked at 53 products and questioned 16 of them (30.2%). Grounds? Even the negative results of laboratory tests, errors in the instructions for use and the lack of a declaration of conformity confirming that the manufacturer has carried out the conformity assessment procedure.

 

The vests with reflective materials were dangerous, they were not visible enough

Every second reflective vest examined in the laboratory had a low luminance coefficient. What does it mean? Lack of adequate visibility of the user, which poses a threat to his health and life when he is moving on the side.

 

In the case of reflections, no such irregularities were found, but there were objections to the instructions for use. For reasons of formal incompatibility, the inspectors also questioned 5 hearing protectors.

 

Most entrepreneurs have voluntarily removed errors. The President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection initiated proceedings in five cases.

 

So what do you buy reflections?

As advised by UOKiK experts, let’s watch out for gadgets. Companies often give out accessories that look like reflections. It is not known, however, whether they have the appropriate properties, because they have not undergone a conformity assessment procedure. Confirmation that they meet the requirements is a CE mark, placed directly on the reflector or on the attached label.

 

The instructions for use must be written in Polish. We should learn from it at least under what conditions it should not be used and how to store it so that it does not lose its properties.

 

Attention. Wear a reflector so that the headlights of the car illuminate. The lower, the better. Thanks to this, the driver will notify you in advance. Do not cover the scarf with a scarf or bag. Fix reflective elements on the side of vehicle movement.

 

Check the condition of the reflectors. If you have wiped the reflective tape on the clothing or backpack, replace it. If water got into the reflection, buy a new one because the old one lost its properties due to the moisture.
