Driving of cycles on public roads and the danger of the road was the second safety aspect of the day. After a video session, 88 students of the three fifth grade classes who worn safety clothing, supervised by seven volunteers from the Cycling Club, rode the bicycles for an educational trail on a runway on the courtyard and participated in an outing in an urban setting. Summer rafting, safety vests are indispensable

Harley Davidson is promoting a new campaign to keep bikers safe. They have a new line of light and reflective clothing that can help motorcyclists see and be seen.

The safety vest keeps you seen, especially during rainy or hazy conditions, if a light hits this, it’s obviously all reflective and lets people know they are on the road. He said the new types of LED lights are some of the best ways bikers can keep safe on the road.

The latest and brightest light includes headlamps, peripheral, and tail lamps, and rear turn signals. The general manager of Harley said these lights can be a big change for traditional riders, but it is worth the difference.

These improvements can help drivers be more aware of motorcyclists.

“You have to understand that people are on the road for not paying attention and if you wear reflective material and they see you, your odds of not getting into an accident are a lot better,” Jeff said.

Prepare properly for long trips by car

While some prefer the train or the plane to go on vacation, the majority of French people travel by car to reach their destination. However, a long journey cannot be improvised. Here are some tips to make your trip safe and enjoyable.

Prepare your vehicle, equipment, itinerary

A few days before departure, make sure your car is in perfect condition. Check the general condition of the vehicle: brakes, steering, headlights, light, battery, windshield wipers. The high-visibility vest is a hazard prediction tool

The French start-up CAD.42 is developing a tool for predicting danger and productivity management for construction sites. The solution, which collects position data from equipment and personnel, communicates in real time connected with PPE that warns of the imminence of a risky situation. Based on this observation, the founders of the CAD.42 start-up have created a predictive hazard calculation system dedicated to construction sites, quarries and mines as well as the world of industry and energy. The data that are collected by these sensors are sent to the cloud and processed in real time to allow the detection of risk situations instantly.

In fact, the vest starts to sound and LEDs integrated into the reflective tapes produce flashes in order to attract the attention of the crane operator and the wearer of the connected EPI. By positioning each element equipped with a beacon to within 30cm, it is possible to avoid machine-pedestrian collisions, to secure isolated workers and to dynamically mark risk zones in the case of simultaneous interventions.
