Which hunters are subject to?

The hunt opens this Sunday, September 16. The season lasts until February 28, 2019. The practice is highly regulated. Here are the safety rules.

 

The departmental hunting management plan includes the rules for hunting safety. It is currently being renewed and will be presented by the president of the hunters and the director of the Departmental Federation of hunters, Thursday, September 13, during the session of the Chamber of Agriculture.

 

“Three incidents last season”

Hunting is a highly regulated practice. Hunters must respect certain prohibitions and obligations. “The Yvonne is a department concerning the practice of the hunt, assures the assistant to the head of department of the National Office of the hunting and the wildlife, Jean-Marie. Here are five safety rules imposed on hunters:

 

1.A prohibit the use of firearms and hunting bows on the right-of-way (shoulder, ditch and roadway) of tarmac roads in the public domain and on railways or in the rights-of-way and enclosure of railways.

 

2.A prohibition on any person within range of a rifle or bow of any of those roads, roads or railroads to fire in their direction or above.

 

  1. Prohibition to fire towards electric transport lines or their supports and telephone lines.

 

4.A prohibition of any person within range of a rifle or hunting bow of stadiums, public meeting places in general and private dwellings (including caravans, sheds, garden sheds), as well as buildings and constructions dependent on airports, shoot in their direction or above.

 

5.For hunters, chaperones and trackers during big-game beats to wear high-visibility fluorescent equipment such as a harness or a reflective vest with reflective material.
